NEW FEATURE: Batch Add Missed Readings (e.g. due to COVID-19 Lockdown or Furlough of Staff)
Customer Administrators can now add batches of missed monitoring readings using our new tool located in the Admin- Manage Monitoring page.
This feature enables the batch logging of missed entries for all assets/ buildings or monitoring systems for a particular monitoring period.
We envisage this feature to be of use to organisations where monitoring staff were unable to access buildings during the COVID-19 lockdown period.
In essence, the system logs a blank entry for each missed monitoring period therefore if your staff were unable to record monthly monitoring tasks during March, April and May, you can add the batch blank entries with a customised comment for March such as 'NO READING DUE TO COVID-19 LOCKDOWN' and the 'Next Due Date' will be moved forward to the beginning of the next monitoring period (1st April in this example). You can do the same for April and May in a couple of clicks.
To add batches of missed readings, follow these instructions (also see image below):
- Click Admin- Manage Monitoring
- In the Manage Monitoring table, click COVID-19 button which is coloured red
- Select your options from the dropdown menus, add an appropriate comment which will be displayed against every asset entry covered by your search
- Click Generate Readings
- Repeat by changing the date field only to complete blank entries for the next monitoring period and click Generate Readings again.
